About Horst Exteriors LLC

Darwin & Bonita Horst started Horst Exteriors, LLC in April 1998.   They both had dreams of owning a business.  Darwin started with a small S10 pickup.  He rented a dump truck.  He would tear off and install a complete house roof by himself!  A distributor nicknamed him "the bear" out of respect for the fact that Darwin worked very hard.  The first few years Bonita would join him at times, baby in the car seat, on the ground watching while she would help Darwin with roofing or clean up.  Roofing was the main source of work but siding, windows and doors were soon added.  In 2000 they hired their first employee.  Lance came to the company in 2001.  Shane joined in 2007.  Connor remembers helping when he could at a young age. Lance and Shane are nephews of Darwin and Connor is his son.  They have been a big part of the success of the company!
